We are always happy to serve couples looking to access Harmony Creek Community Center as the location for their big day! But we also want to help couples insure that what begins as a fairy tale wedding continues as a marriage story with a happy ending. To that end we also provide and very strongly encourage premarital counseling services that help couples explore expectations, defuse potential problem issues and create an enduring shared life together. We encourage every couple to think as much or more about the marriage they are entering and creating as they do about the wedding event they are planning.
Dr. Dave Fowler, senior pastor of Life Point Church has almost 30 years of counseling experience. He holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy and psychology from the University of Waterloo, a master’s degree in counseling from Canadian Theological Seminary, a second master’s in adult education from the University of Toronto and a doctorate in philosophy also from the University of Toronto. As much as his schedule permits he is happy to provide premarital counseling services. The premarital counseling package consists of approximately 5 one hour personal couple sessions and can include after that wedding rehearsal and wedding services.
